「リリース」は、個人的な喪失を経験した時期に作曲されました。インスピレーションはまずモチーフという形で湧き上がり、その後すぐにリズムスコアが完成し、アンサンブルのためのオーケストレーションへと移りました。この作品には、喪失と悲劇の暗い側面と明るい側面、怒り、恐怖、自由、成長などが混在しており、演奏においてはこれらすべてを強調すべきです。 - 作曲者
